MAM HOUSE
MAM House is nestled in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter at Carrer Ample 23.

The building itself holds a rich heritage. Designed in 1852 by renowned Catalan architect Elies Rogent, it was originally built as Barcelona’s first steamship company, a groundbreaking project that helped shape the city’s cultural and economic landscape. Rogent, a classmate of Antoni Gaudí, is also celebrated for designing iconic landmarks such as the University of Barcelona.

Restoring this 1,000 sqm space was a meticulous two-year journey. Our mission was to preserve its historic essence while seamlessly integrating our modern vision for MAM House. Every hidden detail uncovered during reconstruction told a story, and we embraced the challenge of honoring the past while creating something new. Pure. Simple. Minimalist. Delicate. Elegant. Modern. Sustainable.

Today, MAM House stands as the core of our daily office, flagship store, atelier, archive, and future lab. Every MAM piece— from concept and design to modeling, prototyping, quality control, and storage— is thoughtfully crafted and managed within the walls of this palace. We take pride in knowing that, in our own way, we are contributing to Barcelona’s cultural legacy—adding a new chapter to the walls of this historic building, where the past and present coexist in harmony to create the home of MAM House.

PRESENTING GAIA
Gaia is the soul of MAM.

Inspired by the primordial force of Mother Earth, Gaia embodies creation, evolution, and conscious transformation. She represents the living intelligence that connects all things, a presence guided by intuition, balance, and love.More than an avatar, Gaia is the physical manifestation of our values. She reflects our belief that design can be a force for positive change, where innovation, sustainability, and creativity coexist in harmony.Green symbolizes her deep connection to the Earth. Lilac represents intuition, compassion, and the universal love that guides her path.

Entirely 3D printed, Gaia embodies our commitment to a more responsible future. Produced on demand, she helps minimize waste while allowing every MAM space to be uniquely adapted to its environment. At the heart of our stores, Gaia transforms retail into an experience. Standing between art, technology, and nature, she invites visitors into the MAM universe. As the symbol of MOVE ART MOVEMENT, Gaia is constantly evolving, just as we are. She reminds us that growth is a continuous process of transformation.A vision of the future, rooted in the Earth.
